Paper Cut Outs.

On the 11th of March 2013, we had another class with Miss Lisa.

This time she showed us examples of paper cut outs.
and by the end of class, she told us to do a paper cut outs of our own.
So she gave us time to sketch out an image that we want to cut based on 2 things, Balance and Symmetry and Dominance, Space and Weight.

So I Google search examples for paper cut outs and found examples as an inspiration.

Since some of my classmates are doing butterflies as their Symmetry and Balance, I decided to do flowers instead. So it became like this:

Then I tried cutting because I never done this before and somehow failed (lol)

For my Dominance, Space and Weight, I did this.

I was thinking of Spring and how couples are always together at a park.
So my end results are:

It was somehow ruined at some points and I also did it wrongly because we were suppose to paste it on an A4 size mounting board.

So I showed that to Miss Lisa last Friday (22th March 2013) and she said my idea for Symmetry and Balance is good and for the Dominance, Space and Weight is childish so she said I have to change that and also she said I should add a basket for the Symmetry and Balance one so it would look like a hot air balloon.

So I made a new one and it turned out to be like this:

I changed Dominance, Space and Weight to a girl playing kites.
My Symmetry and Balance somehow doesn't really look like a hot air balloon but I think it looks nice.

Lastly, tomorrow everyone will be showing off their paper cut outs :)
