[16/10/2013] 2 Dimensional Design - Create Your Own Monogram: Sketches/Ideas and Process.

In class, we were given time to come out with few ideas for our monogram.
and I came out with more than 20 cause I was so into it.

I was going for FZ (Fauza), FP (Fauza Pauzi) and FL (Fauzalina) (the one highlighted in red boxes) but then she said how your initial should be two letters from your first letter of your name. So she said no to FZ and FL and I went with FP. The picture above are few ideas I did and she likes the one in the green boxes. So she asked me to improvise it more. Make it look more proportionate and convincing.

and I came out with these three.

I told her I wanted to go with block type of font instead of italic.

In the end I chose the one on the left.

So what left now is the choosing of the colours.

This one took me a while. I love colours and combining it so I had a hard time choosing one.

But I went with sky blue and cherry blossom pink (two of my favourite colour that is)

After that, we have to make the stencils so we can paste it on the 6 items.

I did 6 stencils with different sizes.

The 6 items I plan to stencil on were:

1.  Frames.
2. Box.
3. Clear files.
4. Envelopes.
5. Table clock.
6. Plastic cup.
