[08/10/13] Contextual Studies: Production 02 - Report.

Last Sunday (6/10/2013), we filmed the scene where I was involved in at my house.
We were worried that we won't be able to finish the whole scene on that day, but we actually did! So we were very happy and treated ourselves with pizzas!

Now I'm going to talk about what happen on Sunday and how well did we film it. We finally used a few filming techniques that we were excited to try out.

I told them about how I wanted to shot the talking scene in this way.

Me being the Korean lover. I showed them a drama called "Can We Get Married" where I showed them how they filmed the talking to each other part.

See the similarities in both dramas. The only difference is that  they shot in a different angle.

We did the same way too.

I was talking in this scene, therefore Elle's (Eka) face is blurred out while they focus on me instead.
I personally think that this will attract the audience attention. This is my favourite part of the film because of how we interpret professionals way of shooting the talking part.

With the help of my IKEA lamp. We got the perfect lighting I wanted to try out.

It looks like this. I like how the light shine on Elle's (Eka) hair. In photography, hair light is important. It creates a contrast towards the photo.

This is an example of a before after photo when using the hair light.

Next scene was when the "suspect" (which I won't reveal who) killed Adauza (me) in my house.
Due to circumstances, I won't be talking about this scene as I don't want to spoil the suspense.
I'll be showing a BTS we did before doing this scene ;)

Annabel being the expert she is in faking blood. I finally got to experience having this on my body parts.
So she paint and paste on my arms.

So that's it for this week's report. Stay tune for more updates on our filming reports.
and as a treat! Here's our teaser trailer for our short film.

We may be doing a new one. Since we're still not finish filming EVERYTHING. We are 70% done for now.
