[2/10/2013] 2 Dimensional Design: What is Your Square? (Part 2)

I decided to just cut it instead of colouring it, because I feel like I need to get out of my comfort zone and just try to cut it out even though my fingers were in endless pain.

So I theme was "music" and I was thinking of doing piano keys and guitar.

I was just trying out on the piano keys like how it would be when I cut it.
So this was how it look like.

When I showed it to Miss Lisa, she said expand it more. Don't make the piano looks flat within the square.

Therefore, I added the music notes and cut like the whole piano piece and arrange it accordingly.

For the symmetrical one, I had a hard time figuring how to cut it. Miss Lisa told me there's no such thing as hard. Then I realised, maybe because I didn't think hard enough. So I came out with this guitar, with the help of Annabel. 

This was just a trial, like cutting in class and see the results.

 Then I decided to make a new one and used a different colour.

 

And this was the final result of both of my asymmetrical and symmetrical paper cut outs.

There's a meaning behind these two cut outs which I will tell in another post.
